For the fourth year, the NYC DOE Sustainability Initiative is hosting an artwork contest, but we’re changing it up this year! Students can create poster art with a CALL TO ACTION for sustainability initiatives within DOE schools. The topic can be anything within the realm of sustainability (energy, water, ecology, etc.), but must refer to an action that could be taken at school.
ALL students (Kindergarten to Grade 5) may enter this contest.
Deadline - Send in all entries to Ms. Fernandes by November 14, 2014.
Contest Rules: - All entries should be submitted on 8.5 x 11 standard white paper, oriented in either landscape or portrait format (horizontally or vertically).
- All entries must have student information clearly written on the back: student name, school name, borough, and grade level. Entries with missing or illegible student information will be disqualified.
- All entries must be submitted with a completed and signed Release Form. Entries missing the release form will be disqualified.
